Write Your Story, Umatilla County Time Capsule Project
The Umatilla County Historical Society is celebrating 250 years of democracy by doing what we do best, collecting your stories.
Thanks to grant funding from the Oregon 250 Commission, UCHS will be providing archival safe paper to county residents who wish to share their stories.
We are partnering with libraries throughout Umatilla County to serve as a drop off point for submissions and a place to pick up archival paper and info sheets.
Alternatively, you can email your submission to UCHS, and we will print it on archival paper for you. emails can be sent to programs@heritagestationmuseum.org
Join us on September 26th at Heritage Station when we will close the capsule and place it in our collection for safe keeping during our open house.
In 2076 UCHS staff will pull the capsule out of the archives and place the items on display in the gallery.
