Group Tours
There is much to see and do at Heritage Station Museum! While most visitors go on self-guided tours, group tours can be scheduled to make your museum experience even more memorable. Well-versed docents will provide extra insight. Our grounds include a small park with shade for picnics and ample parking for buses, making it an easy stop for large groups.
Tour Companies & Groups
Groups of 10 or more can pre-arrange tours at the group rate of of $7/person. If you would like to bring your group to the museum, we offer both a guided and non-guided experience.
Schools
The 4th Grade Museum Experience is a program organized to coincide with classroom studies of Oregon history. Each spring we offer our 4th Grade Tours, typically in April and May. We encourage all 4th grade classes in Umatilla County to participate. Included with the visit are hands-on activities and one-room schoolhouse lessons. This program is free of charge to 4th grade classes in Umatilla County.
We also offer tours to home school groups and we are happy to tailor your visit to specific curriculum or activities in your lesson plan. If you prefer to explore the museum freely you may do so with or without a docent to answer questions.
Schools located in Umatilla County are free of charge.
Schools outside Umatilla County: $5 per student, chaperones are free.
Scouts
Our Tour Coordinator is well versed in the needs of scouts to achieve rank, badges, and journeys. If you have specific needs, our Tour Coordinator can ensure all requirements are met to help your scout complete badges. Scouts can work on requirements related to many subjects: ancestry, history, public service, volunteering, community, and much more.
We currently offer several badge-focused experiences that help scouts complete most requirements, if not all. Prices range $5-$10 per scout depending on the activity.
