Everyone is welcome and whatever your craft is it is welcome here, this is not a strictly sewing group.
Sewing circles or sewing groups historically were a way for women to bond and spend a little time with like minded people, the goal is to create a welcoming space where anyone can join in and learn. Bring whatever craft you are currently working on, or stop by and learn from the group!
Some of the current projects people are working on are quilts, scrap crafts, cross stitch, and crochet. If you don’t know how to sew and want to learn we have several willing teachers in the group, stop by and they will get you started.
The group is currently in the process of planning a class to teach the basics of sewing and quilting, keep an eye on our calendar for upcoming dates.
