The 2024 Summer Gala celebrates 50 years of Telling the Story. The Umatilla County Historical Society was formed in 1974 by citizens wishing to preserve and protect the county’s historical objects, stories, and to eventually open a museum.
Join us on June 22nd for our Summer Gala as we gather to celebrate this milestone, the extraordinary work done by members, volunteers, community partners, and UCHS staff over the last 50 years. The Gala is our summer fundraiser for UCHS, money raised at this event will help us continue the work of preserving county history. We hope that you and your friends will join us to mark this occasion.
